LOC International Horse Transport will be happy to organise the wheels, wings and export documentation that you need to transport your horse anywhere in the world. We offer both shared loads and private charter transport.

If you are wanting to travel your own horse abroad, we will happily apply for the export licenses and health certificates for you. We can also supply you with a groom/driver for a complete package. Our ferry freight charges are extremely competitive and we will arrange overnight stabling for your horses while you compete on the continent.

Import/export regulations vary vastly worldwide depending on the countries of entry and exit. We will take care of all blood testing and veterinary documentation necessary for your horse to travel.

If you are unsure of the travelling documents that your horse will need to travel legally, then contact our office for advice and any queries that you may have.

Emergency

We operate a 24 hour emergency call out for vet runs or vehicle breakdown.

• We are affiliated to Equestrian Support Services and Equity Red Star for all breakdowns any time day or night
• We are the preferred provider of equine emergency transport for Surrey Police , Blue Cross, SAFE and many local veterinary surgeries in Sussex and Surrey.

Trips to the gymkhana, pony club, clear round jumping, or vet's are often the horse owner's or their horse's first experience of travelling. LOC International Horse Transport understands that no matter how long or short the journey is, it is important that the experience is a happy one for all.

We can transport your horses and all of your other animals and belongings as a complete package. Our sympathetic approach to a hectic situation is where LOC International Horse Transport comes in to its own. Our knowledge of the equine and logistics is at the forefront of every trip that we make and in combination with our expertise and experience of transporting horses minimises the stress to horse and owner alike.

Competing abroad

Whether you are going abroad to compete with the BSJA, BDS or BD, Eventing or taking you own horse to stud in Europe, we will complete and apply for all of your export licences and health certificates for you to travel.

We can also arrange your ferry freight booking with extremely competitive rates and provide overnight stabling for your trip to France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland or Germany.

Special requirements

We cater for all shapes, sizes, temperaments, abilities and value of horses. Please advise on booking of any special requirements that your horse will have during the journey including special feeding and any medication that may be required.

We can arrange additional transit insurance for your valuable livestock through our broker.

Booking and paying for transport

All of our quotations are sent to you in black and white by email, fax or letter, so you know exactly what you are paying for. We accept payment by debit card, bank transfers and cheque prior to transportation.
